Companies adopting generative AI face a challenge that extends beyond choosing a model. Preparing proprietary data, integrating AI into existing systems, and maintaining oversight can complicate the transition from pilot projects to production-ready applications.
Straive, a global data and AI operationalization company, is addressing that challenge through its designation as an OpenAI Select Partner. The partnership will focus on helping enterprises build, deploy, and scale AI solutions tailored to their business operations.
The collaboration combines OpenAI’s models with Straive’s capabilities in data preparation, solution design, deployment, governance, and ongoing optimization. Its focus is on integrating AI into the workflows where employees make decisions and carry out daily tasks.
The announcement also highlights a growing area of enterprise AI development: the infrastructure and services required to turn model capabilities into applications that can operate within specific industries.
Straive organizes its services around two capabilities, Build AI and Run AI. These cover the development of AI solutions as well as their deployment, governance, and continuous improvement after implementation.
The company works with organizations in financial services, healthcare and life sciences, manufacturing and supply chain, media and entertainment, education and research, and publishing. Its focus on industry-specific workflows reflects the need to adapt AI applications to specialized data, operational requirements, and business processes.
“AI delivers value when it becomes part of how people make decisions and get work done every day,” said Naveen Gattu, CGO at Straive. He added that the partnership would help bring OpenAI’s capabilities into industry-specific workflows while providing the governance and human oversight needed to scale them.
Straive’s generative AI portfolio includes LLM Foundry, a multi-model platform that supports OpenAI models and provides reusable components for building enterprise applications. The platform is designed to support application development across different model environments.
For enterprises, the challenge is not limited to developing an initial application. AI systems also require monitoring, governance, and adjustments as business requirements and operating conditions change.
“Enterprises need more than access to powerful models. They need the domain context, data foundations, and operating discipline to make AI useful at scale,” said Sean Manning, VP and Global Head of Partnerships at Straive.
As part of the OpenAI Partner Network, Straive plans to expand its OpenAI-related solutions and delivery capabilities. The company intends to help customers move from AI experimentation to governed deployment and ongoing optimization.
The partnership does not include publicly disclosed customer deployments or quantified performance results. Its stated objective is to combine OpenAI’s model capabilities with Straive’s implementation expertise to help organizations integrate AI into established business operations.
