Firefighters were called to the Tesla factory in Fremont on Monday night in response to an apparent fire. The Fremont Fire Department spokesperson confirmed that they received a call about the fire shortly after 5 p.m. The fire is currently at two alarms, with images from above the scene showing the fire department working to contain it. Smoke billowing from the factory was visible in a local photograph.
Reports indicate that the fire occurred outside and was primarily caused by packaging materials, specifically cardboard pallets. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported so far.
Local footage also captured a team of firefighters on the ground responding to the factory’s call. The incident is under control, and authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
