Effie.AI CEO Ruslan Okhrimovych to present agentic AI retail results at POI 2026 summit

The next phase of artificial intelligence in retail may not be about generating more insights, but about turning those insights into actions that improve business performance.

That shift will be part of the discussion at the POI 2026 Fall Hybrid Summit, where Ruslan Okhrimovych, CEO of Effie.AI, will speak about the business impact of agentic AI in retail operations.

Taking place November 11–13 in Dallas, Texas, the event organized by the Promotion Optimization Institute (POI) will bring together consumer goods manufacturers, retailers, and technology providers to discuss the commercial and technological changes shaping the industry.

Okhrimovych’s presentation will introduce what Effie.AI describes as a new category of solutions: operational agentic retail execution. The session will explore how AI agents can support retail operations and help companies improve the execution of commercial strategies at the point of sale.

Three business metrics from agentic AI implementation

The presentation will also highlight business results achieved through the technology’s implementation, offering a look at how agentic AI is being applied in enterprise retail environments.

Ahead of the summit, Okhrimovych shared three performance indicators associated with these implementations:

  • 16% increase in sales growth.
  • 67% reduction in shelf audit time.
  • 40% reduction in supervisor workload.

The figures point to three operational areas where AI-driven systems can have an impact: commercial performance, the time required to monitor retail execution, and the workload involved in supervising field teams.

Unlike conventional AI applications focused primarily on generating reports or identifying patterns, agentic systems are designed to take on more operational responsibilities, coordinating tasks and supporting decisions across workflows.

In retail, this can involve monitoring shelf conditions, identifying execution gaps, and helping teams prioritize corrective actions.

Effie.AI’s participation comes as consumer goods companies explore how AI can be integrated into existing commercial processes rather than deployed as a standalone technology.

The POI summit will address several related topics, including Revenue Growth Management, Trade Promotion Management, retail execution, advanced analytics, and omnichannel strategies.

For technology companies working with large manufacturers and retailers, these conversations also reflect a broader challenge: demonstrating that AI investments can translate into measurable improvements in productivity and business outcomes.

Okhrimovych’s presentation will provide an example of how that transition is taking shape, highlighting the operational implications of agentic AI and its potential to reshape how companies manage retail execution.

The POI 2026 Fall Hybrid Summit will take place from November 11 to 13 at the Westin Galleria Dallas, bringing industry stakeholders together to examine the next generation of consumer goods technology and commercial operations.
