Clancy, a construction company, has recently welcomed Daniel Tonkin and Simon Hyams to its team. Tonkin, previously with Morrison Water Services, has joined Clancy as the operations director for its work with South West Water. On the other hand, Hyams, former managing director of Buckingham Group, has come on board as the operations director in Clancyās major infrastructure division.
Tonkinās appointment comes after Clancy secured a spot on South West Waterās capital delivery programme in November 2023. His role will involve overseeing the installation, refurbishment, and renewal of various water infrastructure components in Devon and Cornwall. With experience at Morrison Water Services, Mace, and Balfour Beatty, Tonkin brings a wealth of knowledge to his new position.
Hyams, on the other hand, will be working closely with Clancyās business development and operations teams to drive growth in the civil engineering and major infrastructure division. Following his time at John F Hunt Regeneration, Hyams brings valuable expertise to the table.
Clancyās chief executive, Matt Cannon, expressed his excitement about the new additions to the team, emphasizing the companyās commitment to investing in its people and fostering long-term relationships with clients. With major projects on the horizon, such as the partnership with South West Water and nationwide infrastructure improvements, Tonkin and Hyams are expected to play key roles in Clancyās continued success.
