Many in Alabama last night experienced their coldest night since May. According to National Weather Service data several cities dropped into the 30s overnight, but no spot hit the freezing point (32 degrees). Of Alabama’s bigger cities the coldest overnight was Gadsden, which hit 35 degrees. The “warmest” was 50 degrees in Mobile.
