Camp365, known for its creative camping solutions, is working on a new foldable truck bed for Tesla Cybertruck. In the past, they developed a tiny trailer that transformed into a spacious cabin in minutes. This time, their all-new foldable camping cabin called the ‘T Model’ aims to be the world’s first foldable cabin that can easily fit Tesla’s Cybertruck, electric vehicles, and pickup cars. It can accommodate up to four adults and even host up to 12 standing people if guests are invited.
The exterior design of the T Model resembles a pyramidic casket, but its triangular shape helps save storage space while setting up the spacious cabin. However, the unfolding process has not been revealed yet as the trailer maker is still in the prototype-making stage. The cabin has an aerodynamic design for minimal drag and maximum range and also features toy racks for campers to bring their electric bikes, kayaks, or paddle boards.
Camp365 refers to the T Model as the world’s first folding camping cabin engineered for ½-ton pickup beds. Its modular design and amenities make it suitable for various trips, family sizes, and seasons. The interior of the cabin is fully customizable, allowing campers to add foldable bunk beds or a queen-sized bed according to their preferences. The floor of the T Model also opens up, providing extra internal and dry storage space.
The foldable camping cabin can be equipped with a WiFi booster to enhance connectivity, although campers may need to bring their own WiFi. It includes four charging ports and two electric outlets. For off-grid camping, the T Model is solar-ready, with an optional foldable solar panel that can be installed outside to power up the cabin. It also features a portable water purification and carbon filtration system for clean water usage.
The T Model is designed to be easy to set up and take down with its patented lift assist technology. It offers all-season off-grid capabilities with insulation, allowing campers to use the electric heater and air conditioner throughout the year. The cabin includes large screened windows for airflow and two side awnings for rainy days. To fully enjoy the cabin, campers are advised to have foldable and removable equipment and furniture. Camp365 plans to start production of the world’s first foldable camping cabin by the summer of 2024.
In addition to its functionality, the foldable camping cabin is designed to fit in pickup truck beds and can be stored in the garage after use. With its spacious interior and innovative features, it provides a unique camping experience for up to four adults or 12 standing people.
